La Pera Leather Seat - Sketch

Sketching some ideas directly on a La Pera leather solo seat for a Harley softail I´m going to start making in heavy veg. tanned leather with lacing.. Finally found the design I wanted, waking up 03 AM this "morning" with a revelation.. and no point to waste time by sleeping.. I think/hope that this might be nice.. The client haven´t seen it yet, but.. :-) It´ll be a little more detailed tho and the line in the middle will be filled with a systematic pattern, hard to explain.. What you think so far?

Leather craft - Stool in progress..

The top of the office working stool is more or less finished. A little more coloring when the sides are done, and then.. That Barry King Maul was really a good investment.. Got so much more control of the tooling, at least for me..

A guy that bought a leather solo seat from me last winter dropped by today at the shop to show me the seat mounted on his custom Kawasaki VN 800 Drifter. I looked pretty cool and was the first thing I did which was not for a Harley Davidson motorcycle.. :-)

Next leather seat project..

This bike will be my next project.. to replace the leather seat which is on the bike today as you see it. This will be a challenge, since the bike is a soft tail and the back of the seat is leaning against the back fender which is attached to the "tail" so the back of the seat have to follow the back fender on bumpy roads.. and I don´t like the gaps between fender and seat..

Leather Seat Progress - A new leather seat in progress without a motive this time.. Added some leather dye, trying to make it look a little old and worn.. Decided to go with dyed dark brown licing to make it look as old as possible..

I designed some seat pans and my good friend "Bønna" from CBB built them and did the awesome brass finish for me.. They will be shipped any day now and I can´t wait start working and make som new custom leather seats..

Just started on yet another motorcycle leather seat with "Dirty Bastard" as a working title, which explanes a little bit of the forthcomming look.. I think.. I hope.. I guess.. Time will show..

Leather - No Virgin Stitched..

Sewing the seat together and my hands are pretty sore since it´s stitched by hand.. After I´m finished I´m going to dye the rest of the seat.. then I have to sew another round since there will be double stitches, and then.. I have to start on another one..

Leather - Solo Seat No Virgin (in progress)

Scetched Virgin Mary and added the text "No Virgin", then transfered the design over to what is going to be the top of the leather solo seat.. I will add some more design to it later and try a technique which I have never seen on a motorcycle seat before (maybe there is a reason for that, heh..), but so far I´m just tooling the no longer virgin, Mary..

New leather wallet..

Just started on a new leather wallet with a tooled Koi Fish on the back and a tiger on the front as a wish from the client.. it´ll be shipped to Denmark when it´s finished. It was a request after the client saw the other Koi Fish wallet I made a while back.. and also to reflect his tattoos.. I´m very proud to notice that people from other countries starting to request my work! The last months I have got requests from USA, Australia, Greece, UK, Italy, Dubai and now Denmark.. Finished leather seat - Motorhead skull

Started on a new leather seat for a friends chopper with the Motorhead skull motive.. You can see more pictures of the bike and other custom motorcycle projects at Custom Bikes Bønna.. The top picture is of the finished result.. it just need to be boltet to the seat pan.
