Gold Leaf - Little Bastard

Started to put some blue variegated gold leaf on a Sportster gas tank for a Harley bobber.. With a little outlining, shadowing and clear to make the flake pop, I think it might be pretty cool :-) or what do you think? :-)

Gold Leaf - Progress..

Started the gold leaf process on Arilds Harley Showel Bobber. Used 1-shot gold size and gold imitation before the layer of gold leaf..

The FortySeven gas tank - Outlined

Outlined the "FortySeven" gas tank and have painted a round of clear on the gold letters.. Pinstriping next.

Gold Leaf - The Brunei Gas Tank..

Just added some gold leaf on Mr. Yazid´s Indian Larry bobber gas tank from Brunei.. going to leaf the other side now and then outline it with 1-shot enamel.. It looks a little strange and skew when the is straight, but when attached to the Sportster it will be tilted upwards at the front so the letters will be straight.. also the Indian Larry tank is curved inwards in the middle, so it skews the letters even more..

Bullet Bobber Chemicals..

Masking the Bullet Bobber gas tank with fine line tape before Kristian is applying some really greasy, sticky and dirty chemicals that smells like hell (if there is any), but it gives a totally awesome effect when the process is done.. The color combination will be pretty cool to the shiny black frame and the shiny S&S engine.. Not the average combination!

Goldleaf & Painting

It´s far from finished yet, but it needs to dry for a few days. It´s all painted by hand with 1-shot enamel with ordenary paint brushes to get the "rough" look.. so it wont get that "perfect" and flat airbrush look...

Pinstriping

Pinstriped a chopper gas tank for Redneck Bikes which have been trated with rust paint... There will be a DeVille logo placed in the gap.. Both bikes will be compeeting at Elmia - Custom Motor Show in Sweden.

Copper leaf - Sportster Gas tank

This was made to honour Jeff McCann which was the inspirator for me to begin with this. He sent me two of his favourite pinstriping brushes (Mack Series #10), which was my forst two brushes.. I have learned a lot from him and Jeff have now become a friend. Even tho he doesn´t customize Harley´s and other custom motorcycles anymore, his work will stand out for many years to come. Airbrushed logo

I airbrushed this custom logo at a french, Frederice´s Harley Davidson Bobber. I struggeled to get the masking attach to the surface, since the paint is matte black, but everything works out at last..

Airbrush - Skull for redneck bikes gas tank

Just a test I`m doing on a redneck bike gas tank on bare metal... it´ll be removed after the show and the tank is going to be painted properly, and I`ll airbrush it again... so it´s only for the fun for the show at Oslo Open... all for nothing, but I get the practise :-)
