Flake - Racing Green "47"

Kristian from KS Lakk have painted this Sportster gas tank in Racing Green flake and are almost ready for me to gold leaf and pinstripe.. you can see the process of the painting here.

Pinstriping & Gold Leaf

Mr. Yazid, the owner of the bike just sent me a couple of pictures of his Indian Larry gas tank attaced to his Harley Davidson Sportster which I gold leafed and pinstriped.. My good friend Bønna from CBB made the custom gas cap in brass.. the bike is now ready for the roads of Brunei in Asia.

Pinstriping - Sportster

My friends Sportster 883R which I pinstriped as a "thanks for the loan" for a month last summer is now ready for the road on the wast coast of Norway, Bergen.. this winter it has also been rebuilt to a 1200 engine..

A new "47" project..

I just finished an Indian Larry gas tank for a Harley Davidson Sportster in Brunei which was named "fortyseven" and yesterday there was a new "47" project.. This Sportster gas tank will be placed on a rigid Triumph and the tank will eventually be racing green flake with "47" in gold or copper leaf and pinstriping.. Looks like "47" is a popular number these days.. The other tank was called "fortyseven" since the owners father was born in ´47.. this tank, due to the owner used to work with 47.000 high voltage electricity and friends just called him 47..

Custom Paint - Harley Bagger

Today we started a new custom paint project at KS Lakk garage, for a Harley custom bagger built by Bønna at CBB. Basically it´ll be matte black with orange racing "dot" stripes with white outline and some silver leaf and pinstriping.

Leather - Motorcycle Seat

Finished yet another custom leather seat today.. this one was a bit tricky, since the back fender is attached to the "tale" and the seat are "resting" on the back fender as it would on a hardtail..

Pinstriping sketches

Been out of town and done some pinstriping sketches on a transfer/masking paper directly on the chopper I also making a leather seat for.. This is the first time check out the bike in real.. pinstriping tomorrow and attaching the finished leather seat, if it fits...

Gas cap for the Brunei Gas tank

My good friend "Bønna" from CBB made a one of a kind gas cap in brass, with a silver dollar on top for me, to use for the gas tank I pinstriped and Gold Leafed for Mr. Yazid in Brunei, Asia.

Upcoming project..

A good friend of mine, Arild from Lowbrows MC is getting his new bike built at Manyana custom in Norway, and I´ll add some lettering, gold leaf and probably some pinstriping in old skool style on the gas tank and back fender.. as you can see, the bike is still under progress, but looks like it´s going to be a very cool bobber..

Next leather seat project..

This bike will be my next project.. to replace the leather seat which is on the bike today as you see it. This will be a challenge, since the bike is a soft tail and the back of the seat is leaning against the back fender which is attached to the "tail" so the back of the seat have to follow the back fender on bumpy roads.. and I don´t like the gaps between fender and seat..

Gold Leaf/Pinstriping - The Brunei Gas Tank..

I think this is more or less finished with this Indian Larry gas tank.. On the sketch I was planning to add some pinstriping on the side too, but when adding the stars, I feel it´s enough and more would only be a little "over the top" and messy... the colors doesn´t reflect right tho.. I have used 1-shot enamel, Ivory and Tan, but the flash lighten it all.. the Tan outline on the stars disappear totally..

Silver Leaf

A bike I silver leafed and pinstriped last year, and today was the first time I saw the bike almost completed when I picked up my next seat project.. at lest it looks like a finished bike, even tho there is a few things to do.. When totally finished the bike will be shipped to France and live his/her life under the sun.. 

Celtic Chopper Seat

Added some more dye to make a better contrast to the details on the viking/celtic dragon motive.. next step it to stitch it all up with kangaroo leather lacing..

Pinstriping - Skull..

Pinstriped a Harley Davidson Sportster 883R gas tank for a friend, after I had her bike for a month while she was in USA last summer, as a thanks for the loan.. even tho, we planned a pinstriping at a biker pary at Høyangbjørn MC a couple of years ago.. the design has changed many times since then.. This was the result I finished a couple of days ago. I didn´t plan to when I did a sketch for this motive, but it kind of looks a litle like Darth Vader from Star Wars..

The FortySeven gas tank - Outlined

Outlined the "FortySeven" gas tank and have painted a round of clear on the gold letters.. Pinstriping next.
